Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the applicability of supported employment to the traumatic brain injury (TBI) population in Korea. TBI has significant impact on such diverse human functioning areas as physical, psychological, perceptual, and behavioral ability. Due to the rapid improvement of emergent medical treatment systems, medicine itself, and industrialization, society has been producing an increased number of citizens with TBI. Through a comprehensive literature review it has been revealed that enclave, small business, and mobile crew supported employment models were best suited for people with TBI in Korea.
